Sd.Kfz. 3 "Maultier" with 2cm Flak 38 AA 1/35

During 1941 Germans troops discovered that their wheeled transport vehicles were unsuitable for the muddy rasputitsa conditions that marked the beginning and end of the Russian winter.
Most Maultier conversions were based on Opel trucks, which proved successful in service.
The Flak 38 were 20 mm anti-aircraft guns used by various German forces throughout World War II. It was not only the primary German light anti-aircraft gun, but by far the most numerously produced German artillery piece throughout the war.

This modell is based on the old Italeri Kit. I added Friul Tracks, Eduard PE and a Eduard brass gun barrel. Painted with Tamiya colors.
